  • Attend compulsory courses, specifically the University's General Elective Course and Research Methodology Course.
  • Complete and pass the Doctor of Philosophy thesis and viva (oral presentation).
  • Fulfill the publication requirements :
  • Submit at least one (1) article for publication that has been accepted or published in a journal indexed on Web of Science ; OR
  • Submit at least two (2) published articles that have been accepted or published in journals indexed in SCOPUS/ERA/Journals listed in My Cite (Malaysian Citation Centre) .

PhD: a master's degree and a research proposal.

Typically IELTS 6 or equivalent (TOEFL / PTE). Some universities offer a preparatory English program if you haven't reached the score yet.
