Programme Structure

Research Courses that the PhD student must complete in year 1 are as below:

  • Quantitative Research Methods
  • Qualitative Research Methods

The candidate is required to complete the research in a time bound manner. Below is an indicator of tasks to be completed:

Year1

  • Coursework
  • Research Proposal presentation

Year2

  • Literature Review
  • Fieldwork - data collection and data analysis

Year3

  • Integration of Chapters
  • Research-in-Progress presentation and reflection
  • Submission of final draft of thesis for supervisor approval
  • Submission of thesis for examination

Entry requirements

PhD: a master's degree and a research proposal.

Typically IELTS 6 or equivalent (TOEFL / PTE). Some universities offer a preparatory English program if you haven't reached the score yet.
