Doctor of Philosophy in Sport Studies

The Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Sport Studies programme enables students to enhance their research careers in the sports studies domain by providing extensive training in research-specific abilities, academic writing, seminars, and career management. Students study a variety of themes, culminating in the submission of a thesis and a viva-voce exam. Upon successful completion of the programme, students are awarded Ph.D. status, recognising their contributions to the field and readiness as independent scholars.

Entry Requirements

Master’s degree (Level 7 Malaysian Qualifications Framework) or equivalent as approved by the HEP Senate.
