The Bachelor of Optometry (Hons) at UCSI University Malaysia focuses on managing various eye conditions and advancing optometric clinical skills in vision care. Students gain knowledge in ocular health, preventive care, visual therapy, and managing eye diseases. They also learn to assist patients with special needs. Graduates can pursue careers in hospitals, clinics, private practices, and optical product manufacturing. The program addresses the increasing demand for vision care services in Malaysia, and upon completion.

Entry Requirements

Minimum CGPA 2.50 including any 3 of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics.

For other qualifications and certificates (e.g., UEC, equivalent , etc..) please contact our educational consultants or submit your application for Admission assessment.

Chain of franchised superstores (Retail Optical Stores), Independent Private Practice, Partnership or Group Practice, Community Health Centres, Home Maintenance Organisations (HMOs), Hospitals, Manufacturers of Ophthalmic Products,Insurance Companies and Industrial Safety Programmes (Consultants), Academia, Research, World Health Organisation and other related organisations.

شروط القبول

البكالوريوس: الثانوية مع معدل مرتفع، أو الفاونديشن، أو الدبلوم.

عادةً IELTS بدرجة 5 أو ما يعادلها (TOEFL / PTE). بعض الجامعات توفر برنامج لغة تحضيري لمن لم يحقق الدرجة.

تختلف الشروط الدقيقة حسب التخصص، وقد تُطلب شهادة لغة إنجليزية مثل IELTS أو ما يعادلها.
